I know i'm nowhere in the right state of mind or anywhere near ready to start a new year.
But like it or not, life does not wait for you. It goes on.
Christmas was nothing extravagant, just a simple dinner with family and close friends & of course, Alwyn.
I honestly had too much turkey, baked ham and roast beef. But, nothing beats eating good food admist the people who love and care about you.
New Year's Eve was nothing but a special time i spent with Alwyn. We ate my favourite food of all time (Chili Crabs and some noodle with crab soup), watched ManU lose, and lied in bed, which i subsequently fell asleep for the first 3 hours into the new year. I didnt take a lot of pictures this festive season because i was so busy catching up with family and friends and of course, distracted by all the food.
The first day of 2012 was the perfect way to start the year. I lazed at home till 6ish, spent that time watching tv, reading and cleaning my brushes. Then i met the boy for dinner at none other that Haq-Insaf. hehe. (its our favourite prata place). After that, we played badminton. Despite the annoying wind, which we tried to avoid many times by switching locations, it was super fun. But now, my hands are aching, my legs are about to break and i'm sore all over. Nonetheless, we decided to do it twice a week. hehe <3
Well, i couldn't have ended 2011 and started 2012 any better. Like what i always tell myself to take life as it comes and not fight it. I still haven't settled some of 2011 resolutions, but with the help of Alwyn now, i'm sure i'll be able to overcome those in 2012. Hope you all had a wonderful and blessed christmas and new year.

"What can be said in New Year rhymes,
That's not been said a thousand times?
That's not been said a thousand times?
The new years come, the old years go,
We know we dream, we dream we know.
We rise up laughing with the light,
We lie down weeping with the night.
We hug the world until it stings,
We curse it then and sigh for wings.
We live, we love, we woo, we wed,
We wreathe our prides, we sheet our dead.
We laugh, we weep, we hope, we fear,
And that's the burden of a year."
